Residents and their Powers of Attorney will be informed about other optional services available at St. Joseph's Villa and the associated cost to the resident if they choose to receive such services. These may include the following:

• Guest meals in the dining room with the residents
• Cable Television connection and monthly charges for residents’ personal use
• Access to Handi Transit services
• Alternative Therapies
• Continence care products not part of the Villa’s continence care system
• Dental/Denturist services
• Optometry services
• Audiology services
• Massage Therapy
• Dry-cleaning
• Hairdressing and barber services
• Newspaper subscription
• Non-prescription drugs, medication and treatment products not available through the Ontario government pharmaceutical and medical supplies
• Preferred accommodation (Private rooms with private washrooms or semiprivate and basic rooms with attached shared washroom)
• Rental or purchase of walkers, wheelchairs and geriatric chairs
• Telephone connection and monthly charges for residents’ personal use (basic cost of telephone, is included in Preferred Accommodation rates.)
• Transportation services (HandiVan, Aaron Wheelchair Taxi, etc.)
• Catering Services for private in-house functions
• In-house clothing and shoe sales
• Regularly organized recreational outings
• Café located in Town Square
