Service, Integrity, Dignity, Excellence - Core Values
The Sisters of St. Joseph’s Award of Excellence recognizes those individuals who demonstrate outstanding actions that reflect excellence and caring in service to others at St. Joseph’s Villa and who do so by going beyond the call of duty. This year’s emphasis was on our core value of Integrity and demonstrating it through action.
We believe it is important to recognize and celebrate people within our organization who strive to express healing love through care, compassion and concern for each other and the people we serve. We do this by demonstrating the spirit and charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph’s of Sault Ste. Marie who have exemplified these values since 1650 through their work of unity and reconciliation. The five individuals who have made a difference in the life and work of the Villa and the people they serve are:
