St.
Josephs Villa is a home for adults 18 years of age or older who require
assistance with activities of daily living. The Villa
offers daily recreational activities, spiritual services, artistic
programming and medical attention as well as alternative therapies.
All programming focuses on wellness of the whole person
body, mind and spirit. Furthermore, St. Josephs
Villa is establishing itself as a leader in aging and wellness research and education
in Northeastern Ontario.
Partnerships with Cambrian College, Laurentian University, Collège Boréal and Huntington University facilitate teaching and research that supports and improves quality care for the residents who reside at St. Joseph’s Villa.
In
order to provide such wonderful services to our residents
and the community at large, St. Joseph’s Villa employs
approximately 160-170 devoted and enthusiastic staff members.
The Villa is fortunate to have persons on staff

Standards. Villa staff are also committed to life-long
learning, enthusiastically assisting in the training of
students from multiple academic disciplines and playing a vital role in aging and wellness research.
